AFTER A SUCCESSFUL PRIMARY, I’M EXCITED TO ADVANCE TO THE GENERAL ELECTION! I look forward to bringing my positive message of bipartisan cooperation to this region.
During the Primary election, I was proud to visit every county in the district—Okanogan, Douglas, Ferry, Stevens, Pend Oreille, as well as parts of Spokane and Chelan—and to have talked to residents of over twenty towns and cities in order to understand the key issues that matter to them. I am really excited to head back out and meet more people like you!
Our district faces real challenges: tight budgets affecting infrastructure and school funding, limited healthcare access, and concerns over water rights and apex predators.
In Springdale, where I live, new home construction signals growth, and balancing this with current residents’ needs is vital. My experience on the Springdale Town Council has prepared me to manage budgets and make effective decisions.
As a veteran, I have access to the VA hospital in Spokane, but many veterans in remote areas face long trips for care. We need satellite clinics in northern regions to better serve them.
With a district as diverse as ours, I’m committed to working across the aisle to find sustainable solutions. Elect me, Paul "Rocky" Dean, and I’ll work tirelessly to represent every resident of Washington’s 7th Legislative District.
